Howdy,

Well my design course is well and truly in full swing and I'm managing to suss out and cope with the projects and tertiary work load so far. It's giving me an opportunity to experiment with media I never really tried before so that's always good. Some of it (like the print making) I'll probably upload up here.

Also my old secondary school asked me to be one of the exhibiting ex-students in an art ehibit in May. So I'm pretty stoked about that prospect of publicity. I'm trying to find time to draw a whole lot of new pictures for the exhibition, but I think I'm being a bit ambitious with the amount I want to draw so we'll see how that goes!

As I sit here I'm thinking, amazing as that fact alone may be. I'm thinking, does anyone else ever feel that everyone else seems to be one step ahead of you or passing you by? Or doing better than you just cos they can? Maybe forgetting about you for the same reason. I mean sure people will scoff and say "well do something about it", but hey is there really a majik solution to everything?

1. The less I speak the more I hear, the more I hear the less I speak. I listen to people I don't constantly yabber, that's just me.

2. I try to never go into an italian restaurant without a pair of chopsticks. They don't provide them yet expect you to eat pasta? Crazy! Also soy sauce instantly improves any meal.

3. Life's so much simpler when I'm drawing. I think it's the closest I'll get to spiritual enlightenment.

4. I've never been a fan of hot weather. I much prefer cold weather and rain.

5. I always look for opportunities to use famous/movie quotes in everyday situaitions.

6. I don't seem to be headed anywhere particular but I seem to be getting there awfully fast. Oh well, where ever you go there you are.

7. The universe loves proving me wrong, Lady Luck's never been a friend of mine, Mother Nature is a bitch and I'm not as world weary as I'd like to think.
